Writing

We're constantly working on articles, brief or comprehensive, on any subject relevant to UBports, whether they're how-to guides, deep dives on a specific topic, and updates about the latest developments or even text versions/notes for the Q&As, we would love your help with them, to reach even more people.

Join us to keep the high-quality content flowing and help others to get to know more about Ubuntu Touch.

Documentation

A project is only as strong as its documentation. To ensure that new members of the community can work with Ubuntu Touch as smoothly as possible, we must continually improve our documentation.

Our documentation guidelines can be found here.

You can help us with:

User

New users who are unfamiliar with Ubuntu Touch will look at guides and tutorials on how to use it.

Developer

Developing Ubuntu Touch applications and systems might seem difficult at first, which is why we need all the help we can get to improve the documentation.

Process

Releases and bug tracking require planning and standardized processes. Documenting these processes helps new contributors understand how we work.

Translations

Translations for different languages are essential for a multilingual operating environment.

We encourage everybody to translate, review and improve translations of apps and the system. Translators can be all users who speak the language, native speakers or professional translators.

Start translating Lomiri or other UBports components.
